The Thoth Tarot again gives a strong message… The Chariot and The Tower, balanced between The 8 of Swords… representing a tough decision, an opportunity to take a new path, away from destruction. On some level a choice may be offered between taking a new path, or carrying on on in the direction that you are heading. You have reached a point where you know that things need to change, in fact that they are changing but you are probably worried about the degree of work, preparation and loss that this new path may need. You want to take everything with you, and fear letting go of what has offered you so much security in the past. Holding on to old ways of being however, is likely to actually wreak a greater destruction eventually, of what you currently perceive as valuable, so focusing on your own inner processes at the moment will ease the mental tension that you have been experiencing. Change is waiting in the wings for you, and you are preparing on a deep level for the possibility of setting out on a new journey. However, whether you go willingly or not, is up to you, as it is likely that the universe will drag you kicking and screaming eventually, regardless of the choice you make. The only difference will be the ease or pain of your experience. The reward at the end will be a a better place of personal authority and focus where you feel more in charge of your own life, and are able to gain the sense that you are the master of your own destiny.
