The Daily Oracle: Friday April 19th-The Full Moon in Libra

He who does not trust enough, will not be trusted.

Lao Tzu

A difficult situation today could require that you place your trust in something or someone that has proved unreliable in the past. You may need to set aside your misgivings to allow something new to emerge. Although you may have been hurt repeatedly in the past, you are being asked on some level to open yourself once more, perhaps with a different viewpoint. Recognising that you are not the situation, but rather that you are outside the situation could help you be stronger, allowing you to partake in something without allowing it to consume you entirely. The results may well surprise you.

This month, The Daily Oracle this month will be devoted to my exploration of The Mythic Tarot. Published in 1986 by Juliet Sharman-Burke and Liz Greene, the cards are drawn by Tricia Newell. I have loved the ancient greek myths since I was a child, and often use this deck to do readings when I am “stuck” with something for myself. I find the insight to be gentle and direct.

My name is Joanna Grant, I am an Astrologer, Tarot Reader and Writer, who lives on the Head Shot Fadebeautiful Beara Peninsula in the South West of Ireland. I can often be found at home, deep in arcane research, or practicing some new form of divination whilst burning the dinner! My children probably wish that I was “normal” but may well remember my eccentricities fondly when they come to face the challenges of their own paths. My long knowledge of Astrology leads and informs my practice, in offering guidance, empowerment and healing, helping others to lead a more authentic and magical life. You can read more about me here.
