The Daily Oracle: Thursday May 9th

“Thus with my lips have I denounced you, while my heart, bleeding within me, called you tender names. It was love lashed by its own self that spoke. It was pride half slain that fluttered in the dust. It was my hunger for your love that raged from the housetop, while my own love, kneeling in silence, prayed your forgiveness.”
― Kahlil Gibran

In some manner today, love and emotion have you confused and it may seem that you are unable to make the move that you need to. Feeling held back by your attachment to things past, it can seem difficult to escape from the ties that bind. You come to see however, that there is safety in this position of perhaps unhealthy attachment, and to remain “imprisoned” seems easier and even more enjoyable than breaking free. Today it is possible to contact your own inner light, and to recognise that the barriers to what you wish to achieve may be being created by the fear of freedom, and of denial of the exhilarating view from “the top”.
