Originating at the seed moment of The New Moon in Pisces on Sunday 26th February 2017, this Full Moon shows the culmination, the understanding of the cycle, what we can harvest from this period…
Back in the dark days of February, we searched among the disillusionment and emotional stagnation of the first decan of Pisces, the loss described in The Eight of Cups, in order to find a path through the mists. We faced the distractions of the Labyrinth, as we tried to find our way, to try to build a true spiritual structure that was meaningful for us and from which we could operate with safety and security.
Rather than rely on the enchanted promises of others, the siren songs and the lures of false prophets, this cycle has taught us that it is our own hard work and the lessons learned through our experiences of loss, dissolution or heartbreak, that will serve us far better than the castles that we may build on the promises of pretty mouthed strangers.
Since that time, if we have followed our hearts true calling, we have come to realize that our happiness does not rely on anything outside of ourselves, whether it is our relationships, our jobs, where we live, or what we possess. Our happiness has its foundation in the peace that we make within ourselves, the healing that we can extend to our hearts, and the love that we can share with others for the joy that it brings them, rather than the benefits and bonuses that might come our way.
In examining our emotional difficulties and our feelings of sorrow, we discover the opportunity within this lunar cycle, of finding true spiritual understanding, and the ability to connect to the divine in our lives, in order that we can find the happiness and healing that we have needed, the healing from within.
