The energy of this particular New Moon, is concerned with departure, with making the necessary decisions that are required before you set out at last, on a path that you may have long been considering. Your ability to make the move may have been undermined by doubts and fears, or misplaced beliefs about your abilities, or perceived lack thereof. Since the Solar Eclipse in Leo last August, you may have been attempting to foster a new inner strength, forged by a belief in your own resilience, rather than any inherited patterns, passed onto you from authority figures of the past. This last six months has been a testing ground for your new abilities, and now it is time to take the first nervous steps along the road, to step into the place between worlds.
The voyage that you undertake may be one of uncertainty, a time of preparation, where you will come to face unknown challenges, and difficulties that you cannot comprehend at this point. Although filled with potential, this is also a time of death, for if you decide to take that final step, you will leave much behind. But just as it is a time of closing doors, then also it augers a place of openings, and beginnings, doors that you will find along the way, in the space of the unknown that you have created.
The richness of this liminal experience, cannot be overstated, for it is the matrix from which inspiration and creativity will emerge. You know in your heart that it is time for a new quest to burn in your minds eye, have known for a long time, but it has taken time to gather yourself, to decide what to take, and what to leave behind. Although you are probably still not sure of the shape that your destination will take, you have a rough outline, and know that that is enough for the moment. This particular expression of The New Moon, will be the last that I am making public for the time being.
