The person who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The person who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever seen before.
Forming a tight T-Square in the sky, this Full Moon Moon Eclipse on July 27th is strongly aspected by both Mars & Uranus, bringing three of the four fixed signs of the zodiac into alignment. The first decans of Aquarius Leo & Taurus, are all in play, and are all associated with 5’s in the tarot, a number associated with Mars, that brings upheaval, disruption and change.
A great deal of energy is riding here, with explosive emotional outbursts quite possible for anyone whose chart is affected strongly by this eclipse. It also brings with it however, the possibility to release the entrenched patterns of the past, and to make room for something new in due course.
The themes highlighted by this particular eclipse are the juxtaposition between following tradition, and wearing the mask that is required to play to your audience, and leaving the herd that you are attached to, and standing free of the cultural “norm” that you may be enmeshed in, in order to discover a more authentic reality.
Ego lessons are part of the deal, as we may need to look at where we indulge ourselves in pleasant pastimes rather than get on with the work that needs to be done. It is often
too easy to while away the days in behaviours that do not challenge our demons, rather than breaking free of our comfortable prisons. Far easier it might be to talk from time to time of the desire to break out, rather than actually address the matter.
Who are we without our inner conflict, and our “bad habits” that we are so attached to? There is a sense with this eclipse, that it may well be time to emerge from the cocoon of safe bliss that we have been hiding in, and to work on making a better world for ourselves, whether this means leaving for foreign lands, or just breaking away from situations that are holding us in the past.
On this particular eclipse, we may well be faced with a challenge to our close personal relationships, with difficult communications or painful news. If this eclipse is closely aspecting a personal point in your horoscope, you may well be dealing with ideas of separation and loss. Although things may look bad however, as the eclipse takes effect, over the next month or so, things should improve, and what you may have thought was a lost cause, could make a turn around for the better. If you can quickly grasp what needs to be done, and act swiftly, complete disaster may be avoided.
Five is a number associated with change, and dynamic motion, fearless and unafraid to rebel against imposed restraints and the dogma of what has gone before. The strong five association with this particular eclipse is alive with ideas around change, departure and upheaval, as you seek to follow your inner calling, the deep and persistent voice of your own heart.

For Card 1, the realm of life can be seen by the element of the card. Card 3 could be an ongoing measure that you can employ to make sure that things remain on course. Card 4 suggests something that you can employ if faced with a difficult situation that you feel you need to urgently resolve. Card 5 will be the lesson of the phase, a core concept or mandala that you can employ in the future to assist you in remembering what you have learned in this phase.
