The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion, the only reason for time, is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.
Perfecting with an exact square to Neptune, this Full Moon falls in the middle decan of Gemini, and is the culmination of a lunar cycle, that began on May 25th 2017 with The New Moon in Gemini.
Earlier in the year, I wrote….. “Decisions regarding relationships may well be in the air, and if there has been conflict in regards to control issues, jealousy, freedom and personal independence, now is the time when things could flare up. Suddenly overwhelmed by the suffocating feelings that may have been limiting your personal independence, it may be inevitable that it becomes just the right time to finally make that break for freedom.”
It is now, that this seed has come to fruit, and although you may have felt as if you were being paralysed by indecision, worried about making the decisions that you needed to make, or simply just stuck between a rock and a hard place, this Full Moon, will bring you the opportunity to let go of this challenging phase.
Whether you are now facing into a future that is more open and inviting, or one that is still cramped with indecision and confusion, will largely be defined by the approach that you have taken over the last six months. If you have allowed the need for personal freedom and authentic expression to lead the way, you will have been able to release any binding situations that may have been torturing you with self doubt. The clarity that you have had the opportunity to gain, will have helped you to offload any burdens that may have been cramping your style, and helped you to see that the only person that was hurting you, whether through your actions or lack of. was in actuality, yourself.
Learning to recognise the demons and the angels that are present at all times in our lives, and most of all in ourselves, will have been the final lesson of this particular cycle. Allowing our projections of good or evil to fall squarely on the shoulders of those others who share our lives, is a pitfall that can seriously impede our progress and limit our happiness. Learning to see how we are the architects of our own fates through the actions that we take, allows us to take full responsibility of our lives, and to accept that they are, in reality, only the result of the choices that we make.
Accepting the loss of one future, or another, is part and parcel of this road, as our choices refine and hone the road, leaving the futures of our past lying unexplored, waiting for some other life to fulfil them.
The path between Eight & Nine on The Tree of Life, is associated with The Sun, and we are reminded in this Lunar Cycle, that the power of the mind is mighty indeed. We are urged to remember that it can both create and destroy our future, our present and our past, and is a tool that we would be wise to revere and to use with intent. We are reminded that the Joy of The Sun, is truly about union within ourselves, and to recognise that although relationships with others are an important part of our lives, that it is not for them to define who we are, in a way that can leave us as a mere shadow of ourselves, a reflection that we cannot see, when the other has gone away.
Rising at around 15.50 pm in the British Isles, the Full Moon promises to be orange, if the weather is clear, and along with the exact T-Square between The Sun-Moon and Neptune, Mars also creates a pattern with The Moon & Neptune, known as The Finger of The World.
